Coloured jeans are a huge trend at the minute, especially pastel colours! They are great for summer but can be worn all through winter too, which makes them so great! There are many affordable coloured jeans out there so there's no need to pick just one pair!

Amazing Aqua ...

Aqua blue jeans - Primark - £13

These aqua skinny jeans are from the 'skinny' jean range at Primark and are very pretty. They are made from quite a stretchy material which makes them very comfortable and wearable. They are very simple with gold accents on the button and studs. What makes them even more fabulous? They're super inexpensive at only £13! They are almost identical to the Topshop 'supersoft Leigh jeans' in the colour 'mint' but only a fraction of the price! Yay! I find they look great with a slight roll up at the bottom paired with espadrilles, pumps or sandals for the perfect summer look! They will also look good in cooler months paired with an over-sized jumper and cute accessories.

Pretty in Pink...

Pink jeans - Primark - £13

These pink jeans are the same style as the 'aqua' jeans (above). Primark have many colours and patterns available for you to choose from! Again, the same as the aqua jeans, these are very simple with gold accents on the button and studs. They too look great with a slight roll up paired with espadrilles, sandals or pumps but also can be worn in cooler months with knits for a pop of colour in gloomy weather! Perfect polka dots...

Polka dot skinny jeans - Primark - £13

These jeans are the same as the two above but in the patterned version. They are dark skinny jeans with white dots all over them which makes them look really quirky! except for the polka dots they are very simple with only gold accents on the button and small pockets on the front and back. These look great all year around. Pair with an over-sized jumper and pumps or for summer do some colour popping with red sandals/pumps and a pretty red top!

Super Stone ...

Ultra soft super skinny stone jeans - Primark - £11

These 'stone' coloured jeans are from the 'ultra soft super skinny' jeans at Primark and are only £11. BARGAIN! They are very simple with the button and studs being the same stone colour. They are very comfortable and sit on the hips which is slightly lower than Primarks 'skinny' jeans (above).They look great in the summer slightly rolled up at the bottom paired with sandals, pumps or espadrilles. When rolled up, the bottom colour is slightly lighter which gives them more of a summery look. They are perfect for every season due to the neutral colour. In the winter pair with riding boots or brown ankle boots and knits for the perfect winter look!

Perfect purple...

Purple ultra soft super skinny jeans - Primark - £11

These purple jeans are the same as the stone jeans (above). They are a very pretty purple colour and very wearable. They look great in the summer rolled up (as seen in the image) paired with espadrilles, pumps or sandals, or they can look just as fabulous in the winter due to the dark colour paired with some black boots and knits. Perfect!
Primark have these 'ultra soft super skinny' jeans available in a variety of colours so there is something for everyone! The colours available are very basic and suitable for all year round.

Green with envy...

skinny pastel green jeans - Peacocks - £16

These pastel green jeans are a really pretty colour. They are skinny jeans but i found that they are slightly shorter than normal jeans which gives them a summery vibe. They are very comfortable and feel just like you are wearing jeggings which is great! They fit really well and look great in the summer paired with pumps, sandals or espadrilles. These can also be worn in the winter for a pop of colour paired with an over-sized jumper or cardigan and boots.

Keeping Khaki...

Khaki jeans - Primark 

These khaki jeans are perfect for all year round as they look great in the summer kept simple with casual tops and sandals but look great in the winter with boots and knits. They can be dressed up or down which is great! To dress up pair with heeled chelsea boots (Click here for my post on HEELED CHELSEA BOOTS!!!) or black heels or to dress down pair with flats and a simple tee.  It is very easy to make the military trend look a little more girly by pairing jeans like these with a flowy top or lace and heels.They are elasticated at the waist which makes them very comfortable and wearable. They also tie in with the military style which is very in at the minute!  These jeans are very simple with pocket details at the front and back.

Collars have been very big, whether it is oxford collars you like or cute peter pan collars, they have been everywhere! How about reinventing all your tops and dresses into a new dress/top with a collar? It's simple, just add a collar necklace!

This pearl collar is from Topshop and was £14. It is super cute and looks great paired with knit jumpers, tops and dresses! It can make something casual look more unique and makes a fancy dress look a million dollars! It has small cream pearls together forming a collar shape. This necklace doesn't have different lengths however which can mean with some lower cut tops, it looks like just a necklace rather than part of the top. It is still very handy to have and there are three pearls which hang down the back of your neck. It is available in pink, yellow, blue and this one, so there is something for everyone! I found that this cream one is very versatile due to the simple colour.

Sparkling collar ...

Sparkling gold and silver collar necklace - Primark - £6

This collar is from Primark and was only £6! It is so pretty! It is a gold collar necklace in the shape of a peter pan collar. It is made from gold chain with pretty silver studs all through it. It looks very glamorous and a lot more expensive than the £6 that it was! It has a double chain as you can see from the image and is able to be put at different lengths which is great as it will sit perfectly as you want it. It looks great kept simple with a tan or nude top or looks fabulous paired with a dress or top. I paired this necklace with a laid back baggy knitted jumper and it looked very pretty; i also paired it with a tan coloured vest top with a cute blazer over the top and it dressed a casual outfit into a more classy outfit!

Metallic collar top...

Grey metallic collar top - Primark - £7

Metallic is a big trend at the moment but too much metallic can leave you looking like you've been wrapped up in tinfoil! This pretty top from Primark has the metallic trend by having this grey metallic collar and sleeve accents. It is made from a chiffon type material and is a grey marl colour which goes perfectly with the grey metallic accents! The top is very transparent so i recommend wearing a grey or black top underneath. You can make his top look casual by pairing it with skinny jeans and boots or pumps or you can make it look dressy by tucking it into a skirt or shorts!

Chelsea boots were huge over the winter months but now they're even bigger and are available in many fun colours and styles!

These Chelsea boots are from Pull and Bear and were originally £49.99 but on sale for £29.99. They are nearly identical to the Alexy platform Chelsea boots from Topshop. These ones are more for everyday wear due to the smaller heel. They are black with a block heel in a more dressed up version of your classic Chelsea boot. The block heel also makes tem very easy to walk in and comfortable! They have a buckle at one side of the boot are are elasticated making it easy to get your foot in and out of. These ankle boots look great kept casual with jeans or tights or can be dressed up with a pretty dress.

Summer Showers!

The season may be summer, but the weather doesn't always play by the rules! It's a good idea to have a light weight waterproof coat for the summer so that you don't get too hot, but keep dry when the weather decides it's had enough with sunshine and blue skies.

Light weight Duffle coat ...

Hooded contrast duffle coat - Topshop - £65

This duffle coat is from Topshop and is £65. This is the perfect summer coat as the colours are very neutral which means it will go with LOADS of outfits and isn't a gloomy, dark colour for summer. It is mainly a beige colour with a light grey panel which is at the top of the coat and travels around to the back. There sleeves are rolled up which shows off some more grey. Due to the sleeves being rolled up, it gives the coat a more laid back summery look, however the sleeves are still a normal, long length. It is slightly waxed which is a big up and coming trend for jackets and coats. It has little toggle buttons which look very cute. Two large pockets are situated on the front of the coat as you can see from the image. This coat is slightly longer than your average coat and is about thigh length. What makes this coat even more perfect? The hood! For those rainy days, this coat is perfect! Also, this coat doesn't only have to be for the summer, it is a great coat for all year round due to the neutral colours. Whip on a scarf, hat and gloves for winter and this coat will instantly be transformed from your summer rain coat to your winter coat to fight the frost!

Perfect little red rain coat...

Red plastic raincoat - Topshop

This plastic mac is from Topshop and is perfect for summer rainy days. It is quite light weight meaning you won't be too hot but is warm enough for the colder winter months. It is red with navy lining. You can roll up the sleeves on this mac just like i have for a more laid back summery look. It has a hood which is great and is about thigh length. It has two small pockets at the front. This type of coat is great for not only day to day wear but also for festivals as it is plastic and easily cleaned. I got this one last year and it came in Silver, blue and mustard as well as this red one. This year Topshop have a new range of colours in-store including metallic blue which looks great! These coats are perfect for all year round as they are light enough for the summer but are great for the winter with boots and a hat!

Super Soft Skinnies!

Having a pair of skinny jeans is an necessity! They can look cute and casual or you can dress them up with a dressy top and heels. It's important to make sure they are comfortable and fit well if they are going to be one of your wardrobe staples!

These skinny jeans are the perfect jeans for everyday wear. They are super soft (hence the name!) and are really comfortable. Topshop's Leigh jeans are great, they are long lasting and feel like you are wearing jeggings rather than jeans! These ones are mid rinse in the colour bleach stone which is a really pretty blue colour. They have five pocket details, three on the front of the jeans and two on the back. They have stitched roll ups at the bottom which give them more of a summery look. They look great with espadrilles, sandals or pumps but also look great tucked into ankle boots. Grungy Grey!

It may be summer (or supposed to be, although the weather doesn't think so) but wearing dark colours is still acceptable! Here, i have a few summery items without the need for sunglasses due to neon colours!

Grey maxi dress ...

Grey racer back maxi dress - H&M - £9.99

This grey maxi dress is perfect for summer as it is light weight but isn't in a bright colour. It has a small pocket at the top as you can see from the image and is a racer back which makes it a little more summery. There is a slit up the leg on each side of the dress which makes it more dressed up. This dress is perfect if you want to dress casual but also can be dressed up. To wear this dress casually pair it with a denim jacket and black sandals, but for a more dressed up look pair it with a black leather jacket, black wedges and some pretty accessories and you are ready to go! Beaded cross vest top ...

Grey beaded crosses vest - £6 - Primark

This grey vest top has silver beaded crosses all over the front of the top but not at the back. It looks very edgy and is also available in a white vest with gold beading which also looks great! This top supports the cross trend which is huge at the minute, everything from dresses to skirts have had crosses on them, which give them a very edgy look!  This top can be dressed up or down. To wear it casually pair with jeans and black boots such as biker or Chelsea boots, for a more dressed up look pair with a grey or black skirt, black tights and a biker jacket and throw on some pretty accessories . Due to this top being short sleeves, it is perfect for summer but also is great for winter, just throw on a over-sized granddad cardigan and some boots!

Boho chiffon t-shirt...

Black Boho Girl chiffon t-shirt - £14.99 - Newlook

This top has a chiffon front, but not back, with an image of a girl which gives the top a vintage bohemian look to it. This top is quite a loose fitting top, so is great paired with skinny jeans, shorts or a skirt. I found that this top looks great with dark orange paper bag shorts to add a pop of colour. This casual t-shirt is very versatile and perfect if you want a casual look!

Creative Colours!

Colourful items of clothing are great all year round, they add a pop of colour in the winter and reflect the summer in the summer time! Colour blocking was was a huge trend but if you aren't brave enough to clash bold colours, I have a couple of items less out there!

Colour blocking shirt...

Cobalt and navy colour block shirt - Primark - £10

This colour block shirt is from Primark and is £10. It is made from a chiffon material so i recommend wearing a navy vest underneath. At the bottom of the sleeves they get tighter but they are still lose enough to roll up for a more laid back and casual look. The oxford collar on the shirt is cobalt as is the bottom of the front and three quarters of the bottom ( as shown in the picture). The buttons along the front of the shirt are gold and button from the button right up to the top of the oxford collar. There is a slit up the back of the shirt which adds a unique style to it. This shirt is great kept casual with navy brogues, skinny jeans and cute gold accessories. 


Multicoloured pastel knit jumper ...

Multicoloured knit jumper - Primark - £12

This pastel coloured knit jumper is from Primark and is £12. It supports the pastel trend which is VERY BIG from summer. Although this jumper is a knit it is still suitable and light enough to wear in the summer  as it is a holey jumper. It is quite over-sized which makes it very casual and wearable. It has three quarter length sleeves which makes it more flattering. I found that it looks great with a mint collared shirt underneath with the collar peeping out and a fun tribal necklace. It would also look great paired with the mint leather shorts I previously did a post on. There are currently several colours available in this jumper including coral and pink.

It is also available in a pearl version which is also very pretty and unusual. This necklace looks perfect with a simple outfit such as an over-sized jumper or baggy block colour shirt paired with jeans. It can also be made more dressed up by adding a heeled shoe or boot. This necklace is currently in the sale at £7!

Studs are EVERYWHERE at the minute, especially denim shorts! Whether it is simple studded shorts or spiked studded jumpers you are after, there is something for everyone! They make something simple look very edgy and dressed up! 



Studded Denim mini shorts ...

Denim studded mini shorts - Primark - £12

These edgy shorts are from Primark and are £12. They are mini denim shorts which are customized with glittery studs making them very edgy yet girly and fashionable. The colours of the studs make the shorts very wearable as they are pink, brown, silver, gold and grey! These shorts are distressed along the bottom which make them look very casual. At the back of them, they are plain with two small pockets.  They look great kept simple with a plain top but i also found they looked very pretty with a collar, over-sized jumper, black tights and biker boots. Topshop have a similar pair of shorts, only these ones are a fraction of the price! YAY! If you wanted to be slightly more daring, there are a lot of studded spiked shorts available which look great!

Feeling Floral!

Floral is always a BIG trend in the summer as it really protrays the summer vibes! Whether it is bright floral prints you are after or if it is simple, vintage floral patterns you want, it is all out there waiting for you to snatch up and buy! 


Floral maxi skirt...

Floral Split Maxi Skirt - River Island - £40

This floral maxi skirt is from River Island and is £40. It has a variety of colours, but the colours aren't too bright nor are they in you face. It comes with a metallic grey belt which looks great with this skirt and metallics are very on trend! The skirt is made from a chiffon material and therefore is very light and perfect for summer. There is a short cream underskirt which you can see in the photo. The skirt has two splits up each side of it which gives it more of a summery feel. At the back of the skirt there is a zip to hold it in place. This skirt has so many different colours which makes it even more wearable; just throw on a coloured vest top, denim jacket, sandals and you are ready to go! Easy peasy! I found that this skirt looked great with a beige, baggy vest top and some gold and mint sandals. The beige vest top allowed the beautiful colours in the skirt to really pop!

Vintage floral t-shirt...

Floral collared t-shirt - H&M - £14.99

From H&M, this floral collared t-shirt is £14.99. It's colourful floral design gives this chiffon t-shirt a very vintage feel. Due to the dark based background, this top is very wearable all year round! This top has a leather peter pan collar which dresses the top up. At the back of this pretty top, only the short sleeves have the floral pattern whilst the rest is black chiffon. This top buttons up at the back with a key hole slit. It looks really pretty with coloured jeans for a casual look or with leather shorts for a more dressed up look.

A Take On Tribal!

Aztec is a tribal print which can be seen on a lot of items, especially in the summer. In the summer Aztec prints tend to be in pastel or bright colours but it also has been seen in dark and nude shades for the winter!

Pastel is a HUGE colour at the minute, especially mint! These espadrilles are perfect as they have not only the beach trend but also have aztec and pastel colours thrown in too! What a combination! These espadrilles are by divided at h&m and are only £7.99. They are very comfortable and due to being colourful they go with a lot of different outfits. They look great with coloured jeans and are perfect for adding a relaxed look to an outfit. The pastel shades on these shoes are, lilac, mint, soft yellow, baby pink, cream, white and grey. The aztec print is very pretty and the beautiful pastel shades make these shoes look very girly! At the front of the shoe there is a small section of cream crochet. A small section of elastic is at the side of the shoe which causes the shoe to have an original shape as it dips a little along the side of the foot.

This sheer mint shirt is from primark at £10 and is available in a variety of different colours including pastel colours! It has silver button details on the front of the shirt which button up into an oxford collar. It has two small pocket details on the front with silver button detailing. The sleeves are long but can be rolled up as shown above. This shirt looks very pretty with a statement necklace and can be dressed up or down. It is also good for any weather, it is light enough for summer but can be placed under an over-sized jumper with the collar peeping out for winter.


Mint shopper bag

Mint shopper bag - H&M - £19.99

This shopper bag is from H&M and is £19.99. It is mint green with suede cream panels at either side. It has a black and gold zip along the front of the bag and black handles. This bag is light and also spacious inside. Inside, the bag is black without any pockets. Using this bag adds a pop of colour to an outfit and is large enough to fit a lot in it! 



Mint sandals 

Mint sandals - primark - £4

These mint and gold sandals are from primark and are only £4! BARGAIN! These have a mint green snake print design at the front of the sandal. Along the back it is gold with a small gold buckle. These sandals add a subtle hint of mint and are very comfy!
