Tartan coat!

Checked patterns and tartan have been on many items of clothing recently! It can look edgy and cool or vintage and sophisticated. Here is a pretty Tartan coat which i purchased recently...

I LOVE this coat! It is a red coatigan (feels like a thick cardigan in the style of a coat) It has green, black, yelloiw and blue checked stripes across it making it very wearable with many colours. It has large pockets and thick black buttons. This coat is quite over sized, a bit like the man style coats for women. This coat is very comfy and warm which is perfect for this horrible chilly weather. It looks great paired with dresses, skirts, jumpers, jeans ... pretty much everything! It looks great with black riding boots and a black bowler hat!
This coat is even better than it looks as it is reversible! On the reverse side it is a white coat with red, green, yellow, blue and black checked stripes. This coat is currently in the sale for only £40 but is selling out fast with only one size remaining ... click here to order this coat...

Ted Baker make-up!

Can't take my eyes off you ...

Can't take my eyes off you Ted Baker palette - Boots - £10
This beautiful eye shadow palette is by Ted Baker which you can purchase at Boots. It comes in the prettiest packaging  which is a deep purple and has ballerinas dancing on it. It includes eight stunning eye shadows all of which are very wearable and pigmented! I love how there are gold ballerina pumps on two of the colours!
The first colour is a brown with gold shimmers running through it. This is probably one of the most wearable colours in the palette.
The next colour is a light gold which is also shimmery and would look great for Christmas! This is a very subtle gold and would look very pretty paired with the first brown colour.
The third colour in the palette is a champagne colour which is so pretty as it has a slight gold shimmer running through it. This colour would look great on its own or even used in the inner corner of the eye or to highlight.
The fourth colour is a pale pink. This colour has very little shimmer in it.. It would look pretty used in the inner corner of the eye and as a highlighter.
The fifth colour is a gorgeous purple. This colour has a little bit of shimmer but wouldn't be noticeable on the eye. (Purple colours are good for making blue and green eyes pop!)
The sixth colour is an extremely deep purple. It would look great paired with the previous colour. This colour has no shimmer through it so is great for using in the crease of the eye.
The seventh colour in this palette is a stunning forest green with gold shimmer. This colour would look good for a dramatic look on the eyes.
The last colour is a silvery-grey and is very shimmery. This colour looks great in the inner corner of the eye with a dark crease for a dramaic look.

Two double ended brushes come with this palette. On one end there is a spongy applicator and on the other end there is a brush.

The name on everyone's lips ...

The name on everyone's lips Ted Baker - Boots - £15

This lipstick set comes in a pretty little Ted Baker tin. It includes four lipsticks all of which are very pretty, wearable colours. They are all very pigmented and have a slight gloss finish to them. The colour lasts a long time which is great!
The first colour is a very pretty pink/coral colour which you can see swatches of in the photo. It has a slight shimmer to it but doesn't look too shimmery on the lips. This colour is very wearable and would look great in the spring and summer as it is one of the slightly more bright colours in this set.

The second colour is a deep pink/rose colour. This colour is probably the most wearable in the set and isn't shimmery at all.
The third colour is my favouirte! It is a slightly darker version of the first coral colour which is more oranged toned to this colour which is more of a pinky coral.
The fourth colour is a very wintery colour as it is a berry purple colour. It looks great on the lips and is perfect for a pop of colour!

Both these sets would make perfect Christmas presents!
