Winter Wine!

With the summer coming to an end and the autumn on its way, it's time to update a bright summery wardrobe to a warm autumn/winter wardrobe! Warm colours are always in for autumn/winter so why not mix things up from browns and blacks to WINE!


Wine and leather ...

Wine and leather tailored trousers - Newlook - £19.99

These wine tailored trousers are perfect for autumn and even the end of summer! They are straight legged trousers which makes them look very smart especially if paired with a black shirt or black blazer and black heels. You can make them look cute and casual also, just pair with a fun t-shirt or even just a simple black tee and brogues or slipper loafers. These trousers have a stright line down the middle of each leg which is very flattering as they lengthen your legs! The black leather accents on these trousers look great! There is a leather waist band and leather zip pockets at the front. These trousers are slightly cropped on me but if you were maybe a little shorter or had shorter legs these would be a perfect length to wear as normal straight leg trousers. You could also roll the bottom of the legs up to make it look a little more laid back and summery for the end of summer!

Wine cord skirt...

Cord wine skirt - H&M - £14.99

This corduroy skirt is incredibly wearable! You can dress it up or down. Pair with knitted jumpers or checked shirts along with tights and boots for a casual look or pair with pretty collared tops and blazers for a more dressed up look. This skirt has two tiny pockets at the front and an exposed gold zip at the back. It's quite short  but not too short that its not wearable. It's the perfect colour for winter and will look great with boots.

Studded slipper loafers!

Loafers have been a huge trend for quite a while now. They are the perfect shoes as they are comfortable and yet trendy at the same time! There are many different styles, colours and textures of loafers out there for you to choose from!

Studded slipper loafers - Dorothy Perkins - £25

How pretty are these? These loafers are in the 'slipper' style which is right on trend. What makes these even more on trend? They have studs! Studding is a huge trend right now and can be seen EVERYWHERE! These loafers are quilted in black leather with bronze/gold studs on them which makes them look a little more unique and expensive. They are super comfortable look fabulous on. I love them! These will go with so many things, you can dress them up or down! Make them look casual with blazers, skirts, trousers, jeans or shorts or you can dress them up with a dressy skirts, dresses or shorts. Loafers, alike brogues are classed as being a 'man shoe' so look great with tailored trousers and blazers or even a tailored blazer and shorts/skirt combo!

Sparkling sequin skirt!

I love sparkles! This is why this skirt is the most perfect skirt ever! Glittery vintage clothing has been huge recently which I'm very glad of as i LOVE it! You can incorporate a little sparkle to your outfit without having to look like a Christmas tree haha!

Sequin skirt...

Sequin skirt - H&M - £24.99

This skirt is in the colour 'powder beige' which is just a cream colour. It has swirls of different coloured sequins  all over it. It looks very vintage and girly which I love. It is a bodycon skirt with a layer of netting which the sequins are on. I don't like bodycon skirts so i got this in a bigger size so it wouldn't be as fitted. This skirt isn't too short which i like.This skirt is great as you can wear many different colours with it. I plan to wear mine with a mint chiffon shirt, a statement necklace and tan/wooden wedges. This would look quite dressy. Due to the bright sequins this skirt is quite summery but it would look great for the winter, perhaps a Christmas party paired with a knitted jumper, tights and boots. I think £24.99 is a great price for such a beautiful skirt which is very wearable!

I heart my heart ring!

Statement jewelery is always a good way to liven up your wardrobe. They make a simple outfit look more original and create a statement!

'<3' ring - Topshop - £6.50

This gold ring is a two finger ring therefore creates even more of a statement and really stands out from the crowd. It is a '<3' ring which is so cute and I love it! You can find statement two finger rings just about everywhere and they'll really make an outfit complete! Primark have a lot of cheap two finger bar rings if you want some cheap ones, but i love topshop's collection of cool two finger rings! I mainly got this rings as my lucky number is '3' hahaha!
This ring is currently not available online but i got it yesterday so it may still be instore. Similar rings can be found though!

Cute clutch for iPhone!

Keeping your iPhone or smartphone protected is a must if you don't want scratches or a smash on the screen. Topshop and Urban Outfitters have a cool range of purses/mini clutches which are designed to protect your iPhone or smartphone! How perfect?!


Sage croc skin phone purse ...

Sage croc skin phone purse - Topshop - £14

This one is from topshop and as you can see fro the image it looks like any purse you would buy. But look inside! I have placed my iPhone in the iPhone compartment so you can see what is looks like. It protects our phone and has soft padding around the phone compartment to ensure your phone is safe and protected! Whats even cooler? It has a section for your money and card slots. This is perfect if you maybe don't want to carry a big bag or even to keep your phone completely protected whilst in your bag! The croc print on this purse is beautiful and i love the colour! The purse part of this purse doesn't have a zip so if you are carrying coins they may fall out and the money section isn't that big but this purse is definitely very handy to have! There are two card slots and a photo slot also! Topshop have loads of these in different patterns, colours and textures! Urban outfitters range of these cool purses are great because they have a little wrist-lit on them, however the section to put your phone in isn't as protected as the Topshop ones. The patterns at urban outfitters are still very pretty though. Although these are named as 'smartphone holders/purses' they probably wouldn't fit every smartphone. They seem to be designed specifically for the iPhone 4/ 4s as my iPhone fits perectly.

Cool Khaki!

Khaki is a must have must have for your wardrobe this seaseon! You can make khaki look pretty and girly or rocky and grungey, it's up to you! You can incorporate khaki into your wardrobe with anything from coats to shoes!

This coat is a great way to add a little khaki into your life! This coat has a khaki body with army style pockets with bronze buttons and leather accents on the pockets. It cinches in at the waist by pulling the leather toggles if you want it to have a bit more shape. The leather arms look great on this coat and makes it very original!  It is a very light coat so is perfect for summer but is also great for the colder months by pairing with warm knits. This coat would look great paired with leather trousers or leather heeled chelsea boots or kept casual with skinny jeans or pretty skirts and flats. More expensive coats are available at topshop and River Island but they look pretty much identical to this cheap primark one!

Khaki Skater dress ...

Khaki skater dress and black studded belt - Primark - £10

This skater is so cheap you can't really go wrong with it! It is very easy to wear, just pair with black tights, black chelsea boots ( For my post on black heeled chelsea boots,click here!!!) and throw on a black leather jacket and you are ready to go! Simple! If the grungey look isn't for you why not pair with a pretty collar necklace and flats or layer a knit jumper over the top with a collar for a vintage look? Skater dresses are very comfortable and flattering to wear and suit everyone, plus, this one is khaki which is this seasons IT colour! You can make this dress look dressy or casual, it's up to you! The belt is very cool as it a black belt with silver studs which is another HUGE trend at the minute!

Twinkly tiered necklace!

Tiered necklaces are a great look, they add an interesting element to an outfit and really add a statement to a simple outfit. They can be girly and vintage or rocky and grungy. If you don't want to spend money on buying a new necklace they are very easy to recreate by layering a few of your own necklaces up to create a look that no one else will have! Simple!

Tiered necklace - Primark - £4

How can you resist this necklace when its only £4? It is very wearable as it is gold, bronze, silver and metallic grey. It has many different charms on it which are very rocky such as several crosses, skulls, pearls and hearts. This would look great with a casual outfit consisting of jeans, boots and a simple baggy t-shirt or would look great to add a statement to a plain little black dress. Oh, did i mention it is only £4?

Feeling floral! (no.2)

Floral is a huge trend and suits everyone! Go for large bold prints to stand out from the crowd or keep it cool and casual with small vintage floral patterns. Floral is great as it can be dressed up or down and comes in so many different patterns and styles!

Floral sleeveless shirt - Primark - £8

This floral sleeveless shirt has all the trends going on! It has a beautiful floral print with so many pretty colours making it very wearable. It rocks the collar trend perfectly with this cool black oxford colour with three rose gold studs on the tips making it right on trend! It's high-low hemline  makes it even more trendy and dresses it up a little. What trend does this shirt not have? This shirt will look great kept casual with coloured jeans and pumps or sandals or even boots in the colder weather. Due to the floral print being on a dark background it is still wearable in the winter, just pair with a chunky granddad cardigan or put an over-sized jumper over it leaving the collar peeping out or even the bottom of the top for a laid back look. For a more dressed up look pair this top with leather; leather trousers, leather leggins, leather shorts, leather skirt...The list is endless! Just pop on some colour popping heels or a colour popping bag and you are reading to go! This shirt is sheer so i recommend wearing a black vest top underneath. Due to the high-low hemline this top can be paired with leggings as it is quite long, making it the perfect comfy outfit which is still stylish! Yay!

A huge trend next season is 'woodland' animals such as foxes and birds. It is a trend which can look pretty and elegant or simple and quirky. Why not get ahead and start the very wearable trend now?

Vintage raspberry bird cage dress - Dorothy Perkins - £38

I LOVE this dress! It is made from layers of chiffon which makes it really girly and vintage looking. It is in a fantastic raspberry colour with navy bird cages and a navy collar. This dress has a zip down one side and a keyhole at the back where you can button it. As you can see from the image (above) there are dainty  little birds and flowers which look very pretty and elegant. This dress is knee length and ties around the waist (as you can see from the image above). This dress is perfect all year round, pair with navy tights and navy brogues in the winter with a granddad navy cardigan or wear in the summer with sandals. Is there anything which makes this dress any more perfect than it already is? YES! It can look cool and casual or can be dressed up! Dress down with over-sized cardigans and flats or dress up by putting your hair in a pretty up-do, add a leather jacket and heels or wedges.

Floral bird dress...

This dress is made from a light material making it perfect for summer. It is a bright aqua blue colour which looks great with the mutlicoloured floral print and black birds. This dress comes above the knee and cinches in at the waist making it very flattering. At the back of the dress there is an exposed black zip. Wear this dress in the summer with sandals or wear in the cooler months with a leather jacket, black tights and biker or chelsea boots. This dress can also be dressed up with a skinny coloured belt, colour popping heels and a leather jacket!

Owl print blouse...

vintage owl print blouse - Next - £22

This cute top is made from chiffon making it very see through so i recommend wearing it over a  cream or navy vest. It has a peter pan collar which makes it look very vintage and on trend. The cute owl print looks great and the owls are navy, brown, mint and pink which injects some colour into this top. It buttons at the bottom of the sleeves as you can see from the image (above). It looks great kept casual with skinny jeans and brown chelsea boots or you can go for a vintage take and wear it with a pleated midi skirt.

This shirt is great for all year round. It is perfect for the winter due to the warm colours paired with chelsea boots and knits. It has an oxford collar which is right on trend and buttons up to the top.It's a tan colour with cream and brown birds all over it. It looks great kept casual with jeans and brown chelsea boots.

This sleeveless shirt is the same as they one above only in a different pattern. It is a cream shirt with different coloured birds all over it. It is great for summer as it is so light. Pair with coloured shorts or jeans and sandals for a perfect summer look. For winter pair with an over-sized granddad cardigan, skinny jeans and chelsea boots. (This shirt and the one above were both from Primark's summer collection last year but they currently have the same style top in at the moment in different fun patterns)

Multicoloured parrot scarf - Newlook - £12

This light weight scarf is perfect for summer, especially if the weather isn't looking too summery! It has many different colours making it very wearable. It has an image of a parrot and flowers all over it and it also rocks the pastel trend which is HUGE at the minute! Pair with a coloured top or bottoms and sandals for a casual summer look. If the weather is a little colder pair with a coloured jumper or leather jacket so you still look summery whilst battling the rain!

This grey lightweight snood was only £4 from Primark. It has lots of different coloured birds and feathers making it very wearable. It is great all year round as it is grey and has warm colours making it suitable in the autumn and winter but due to the bright colours and pastels it is very suitable for spring and summer! Pair with bright knits, tops or jeans along with sandals or pumps for a pretty outfit!

This pretty bird necklace is a short necklace and contributes to the bird trend in a very simple way. This necklace is very wearable; throw on with anything from a vintage dress to a casual t-shirt. It is bronze with silver stones in the center of the bird making it look very pretty!
